This summer in Rome has been a weird one; we are never 100% sure what the travel restrictions are, or even just the rules to enter a restaurant. Even now, you have to be vaccinated or you have to have gotten a COVID test within the last couple of days to enter a public facility. That being said, with a little research, it is possible and surprisingly easy to travel around Italy and to most parts of Europe right now.

What It Was Like Being Locked Down Overseas
Story TimeExperiencing the COVID-19 pandemic in a foreign country away from everything I’ve ever known has been an adventure, to say the least. I remember in February there was talk at the office that people would start to work from home, but it would probably be no more than a month because it “wasn’t that serious” — HA. How I Moved to Europe

I get these questions a lot and there are a lot of different factors that led up to me making this move (or moves, shall I say).
For those of you who don’t know, I was fortunate enough to have been able to graduate college a semester early and move to Spain for a little over three and a half months to take an intensive Spanish course (thanks mom and
Let Me Introduce Myself
Story TimeHey! My name is Chloe and I’m so glad you’re here!
I decided to create this blog because I have been playing around with ways to record my life events, but I wanted to do it in the best way so that I can share my experiences with others. A few years ago in 2017, I took a trip with a group from my university and we traveled to four different European countries in one month: Italy, Austria, Germany, and Czech Republic. It was one of the best experiences of my life, and I had an inkling the moment we landed in Rome that I would have a special connection to Europe. Throughout the trip I kept a journal of events every single day, and it is amazing to now look back and flip through my adventures—truly remembering every moment. I will be thankful for that forever!
