I would like to start this by saying I really advise you to stay in one place until all of this is figured out a bit more, but for me, staying in one place wasn’t really an option. I live in Rome, Italy, but my permanent residence is in the U.S. That being said, I hadn’t been home in 1 year and 3 months — long story short, I have to take a one-month break from my job once per year and go back to my country.
